Sassy Stitches WILL BE CLOSED on July 3rd and July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
Some of you may have receive correspondence from Jan Goodman that she is cutting back on quilting. Sassy Stitches is extremly thankful that she has provided her longarm quilting services to our customers over the years. Jan is ready to slow down and spend time with her aging mother in Tennessee and her sisters. Once again we would like to say thank you Jan.
As some of you may or may not know Angie has been offering longarm service in house to our customers over the past several months. She would like each of you to know that she is accepting new clients. Her process and cost are the same as previous with Jan. The next time you are in the shop take a minute to look at shop samles hanging that Angie has quilted.
Upcoming June Classes
Gracie's Star - June 6th
This class will meet on Tuesday the 6th at our regular meeting time of 10:30. I have had a couple of people ask about the class if you would like to join the class you are welcome to attend.
Grids Girls Meeting - June 8th
This month we will be working with the Creative Grids Square on Square Trim Tool. If you own one of these trim tools please bring it to the meeting.
It's back for one day.
Barn Block Paint Class At Sassy's
June 14th @ 10:30
Have you been thinking you would like to paint a Barn Block? This is your opportunity. Angie will be here to walk you through from begining to end. No provious painting experiance required. Lunch will be provided. We still have available seats if you would like to join in on the fun.

Shoebox Club PotLuck Luncheon - Thursday 6/15
Ladies don't forget this month we are having a potluck lunch in the classroom. Bring your sewing machines if you would like to stay and sew.
New Class Alert
Conquer Your Fear Of Your Embroidery Machine
It's Back. Those who were unable to attend Sue Bryant's last class and asked if we could schedule another.
June 21st & June 22 @ 10am
Class Fee is $40
You will make two inserts for a pillow
the beehive and the cardinal over the two days. You do not have to be a beginner to attend this event just call or stop in and
signup.
You must own your own embroidery machine and be able to bring it to class along with basic embroidery supplies.
Come Join Our Embroidery Class - June 26th & 27th
This class meets the last Monday and Tuesday of each month. Sue Bryant has a new project each month. She is such a wonderful teacher! Sue always has the cutest projects. We are lucky to have her at Sassy's sharing her knowledge of embroidery.
Cricut Class is BACK!!!

You know the drill or for those who do not. Anyone can join class fee is $30 those who are new to the class should call at least a week before class so that you can get on the email telling you what you will need to bring. That is in addition to your Cricut and laptop or ipad. See you there!
Upcoming July Classes

Kimberbell Cuties - July 6th and 7th
This class has been so much fun that the group has asked to extend it out through the year. If you would like to join it's not to late. If you have knowledge of your embroidery machine and are able to sew on your regular sewing machine you will be able to jump right in with the rest of the group. This class has a two day meeting, the first Thursday and Friday of each month. Day one is a day that that classroom is open for you to come and sew independently piecing your table topper, and day two Pauline will be in the classroom helping you with the design on your emboridery machine.

Binding without fear and tears
Now that your quilt is quilted don't delay and finishing because you are unsure how the best way to bind or to make the all important label. With these classes Linda hopes to aleve your fears and show you several different ways of completing your pieced and quilted masterpieces. You will learn treaditional French fold binding, Bias Binding and faux-piped/flanged binding. (This is machine finished, no hand sewing with this one. )

July Retreat
For the July 27,28,29 Retreat you can chose one of these two quilt patterns or bring your own to work on. We only have 2 seats available for this Retreat. Grab a friend and reserve the final two seats.
Fee $169
If this class fills we will start a second week.
Shop Hop is fast approaching and we are still looking for volunteer's to greet customers and stamp passports. If like to meet new people this could be just the thing for you. If you would be interested in helping please call the shop and get on the volunteer list.
HAVE PAINT BRUSH WILL TRAVEL
Angie has been traveling and painting at shops and Guild's across the Carolina's. And she is available to come to your guild, shop, or even do a private party for you. She brings all the needed supplies with her paint, brushes, and boards. No previous paint skills required. Call the shop to schedule this terrific class. Dates are filling fast so get on the calendar while she still has available dates.
We are offering onsite longarm services to our customers. Our customers asked, we listened, and added longarm services for you. Currently, accepting new customers.
