Beginner Rope Bowl / Level 1

Rope bowls are an easy fun project that's quick and fun to whip up. Katie will work with you to learn the basics to bowl making. She will be giving hands on instruction and will provide easy to follow instructions.
Basic bowls have many uses: You can use for snacks, organizing, planters. Or a place to drop your keys or jewelry. You will also be able to make placemats and coasters.
This is a beginner class no prior knowledge of rope bowl making required. In class you will learn:
Fabric selection  
Bias cutting  
Rope positioning to create controlled tension and rigidity.
Bowl shaping and constructing bowl walls using different angles  
Adding fabric    
Finishing techniques
There is a $12 kit cost that can be paid at class.

Class Policies:
Pre-registration with payment is required. This class is required to register in person or by phone.
We ask that Class materials be purchased at Sassy Stitches. This helps us to keep our class cost down. We do ask that you check with us prior to purchasing any supplies to ensure the class has not been canceled for any reason.
Cancellations: If we cancel a class due to low class enrollment, weather, etc., class fees will be refunded. You may also receive a refund of you cancel your class up to two weeks prior to class date.
Due to class planning and supplies refunds will not be processed if you cancel less than two weeks prior to class date. Cancellations with 14-7 days notice will receive 1/2 of fee as a store credit.
Cancellations with less than 7 days of class date will not be eligible for a refund or store credit.

Please do not wear perfumes or other fragrances to class as other in the class may be sensitive to smells.
